* We hope to develop idea 1, which is the ice cream cone with a scoop of cookie dough because we feel like it is the most practical and unique. For the table/stand we hope to  the the stand on the top right, becasue we feel like it will promot our product better and it is more invitng. 

Aesthetics - we will ensure our product looks good in a few ways. After doing research on other brands selling cookie dough we have understood the difference of having an aesthetically pleasing product. One way we will do this is by making sure we neatly scoop our and decorate our cookie dough into the packaging. This is so that it looks appealing at first glance. Firstly, the presentation of our work is a very important aspect, we will achieve this by making sure our packaging looks good. We also want all the colours to work together, we will steer away from darker colours and maintain an overall theme of pink. This is one way we will make sure our product looks nice. Furthermore, our table and avertsiment will all follow this colour pallet keeping our brands aesthetic cohesive. After having complete criteria A we have understood how important details are. For example, everything must work together to create a visually nice product.

Cost - we have decided to sell our product from 2.50 pounds for multiple reasons. Firstly, based on the feedback we received on the google forms majority of our peers think this is a suitable price for 70g of cookie dough. We have also seen how much other companies were selling their cookie dough for, but ours has to be a little bit cheaper as our target audience is teenagers. Lastly, we have made sure that with this price we will still make profit.

Environment - After researching about the other companies we have seen the different ways they have made their product as environmentally friendly as possible. In terms of packaging, we will use only paper as a material and avoid using plastic, additionally we will also try to use recyclable materials. For our cookie dough we will use fair trade chocolate, which reduces greenhouse gas emissions And make sure that the farmers are being paid fairly.

Size - The cupcake cases which will hold our cookie dough will have a diameter of 5cm and height of 4cm. The cookie dough itself will be 70g for each serving. We think that it is the perfect amount as it isn't too much to make someone feel sick but also that it isn't too little and you will still be able to enjoy the perfect amount of cookie dough.

Function - we will be selling our product to students after lunch so the function would be offering them a sweet treat after their meal. Additionally, since a lot of the students in school are quite tired from all the lessons, this will give them a little boost of energy.

Safety: To ensure our product is safe we will make sure the calorie count is not excesive. The calorie count for cookie dough from our resrach should be around 432kcl for 100g and 121kcal per 28g; this means it will not affect your health. We saw that comapnies did not use any raw eggs or flour, this ensures that their customers can eat the cookie dough raw without getting tummy aches. So, we will do this. Another way we will keep our product safe is by advertising it appropritaly to our target audince, 

Production: For our cookie dough we are going to batch produce. We analysed 2 companies, one which batch produced and one which mass manufactured. The company which batch produced was a smaller business. Considering we are also a smaller business we must batch produce as it is more realistic for us to make. This is because of our capability and the time frame that we are given. We also feel that batch produced cookie dough has a more authentic feel to it.

Materials: After researching which ingredients would be the best for our cookie dough, we will make sure to use mini chocolate chips ensure that the balance and texture is enjoyable. Furthermore we will make sure to use milk instead of eggs. Our research told us that people often say that adding eggs is not the best way to get the right texture. As well, the use of both white and brown sugar helps the cookie dough to have the 'cookie dough colour'

Target market: We will mainly be targeting teenagers and young adults. Based off our research we could see that most companies used social media to advertise their products, and considering social media is most densely used by these ages, we think that these are the age groups most likely to buy. Considering the amounts of sugar added and the bright packaging, we might cater to younger kids as it seems some companies are doing this. Furthermore, our target audience will be the halcyon school community. We think that people will like to have a sweet treat after their lunch. 

Quality: From our research we could see that companies would advertise new flavours of their cookie dough, and based off the hype that the video received they could see which flavours and ideas were preferable to people. For example on 'snackidents' instagram page the cookie dough with the highest price is the on their site. So, after making all types of our cookie dough, we will advertise them and see which ones people think look the most appealing. As well, to check the taste, we can ask random people to give us their opinions.

Manufacturing: There are a few things which we must consider whilst making our product. Firstly we need to decide how to use our £20 budget that is giving to us by the school. The second thing we must think about is our time frame; we must see what is realistic for us to do and sell in this time frame. There is not many limitations when it comes to making our product, however we must keep in mind how many resources/materials/ingredients we will have. From our research we could see that there are quite a lot of materials that go into selling cookie dough due to the packaging and the actual dough. 

With the feedback which we gather, we will take each comment into consideration. We will do this to ensure we are succesfully catering our target audience. Something which we hope to do based on our research is to follow a good recipe + tips. We carefully looked for the best tips of what makes the most delicous cookie dough. We will stick to these to make sure we are seeling cookie dough at a high quality. 

Idea number 2 links back to our design brief the best. This is because of our idea with the packaging. However, our second idea inlcudes a social media page which we did not state that we would in our deisgn brief. We asked our peers in class wich idea they liked the best and got various results. The majority agreed that overall they liked idea 3 best. However, these people also said that they preffered the table stands on ideas number 1 & 2 more. The rest said that they liked the social media as our form of advertismenet. I asked my 19 year old cousin (as she is a young adult) which idea she liked best, she said that she liked the product from idea number 3 best as it is appealing to younger people whilst also not being to childish. However, she preferred for us to do a poster as we csan then hang it around and pass it out to people. Furthemore she likeds the tabel from idea number 2 the most because of its simplicity.  Based on our specification, feedback and brief we liked idea number 3 the best. We think that we will do a combination of our ideas. The product from number 3, the tabel from number 2 and advertisment from one.
